Welcome to the Web site (the Site) of SciMed LLC. This site is owned by the Medical Knowledge Group, LLC and has been created to provide information about our company and to provide users with the opportunity to learn more about our continuing education activities as well as to register for and participate in such activities. This Privacy Policy sets forth SciMed's policy with respect to information, including personally identifiable data that are collected from individuals who use the site and from individuals who otherwise register for and/or participate in SciMed activities.

What Information Do We Collect?

Personal Data That You Provide Through the Site: We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily choose to provide such information such as when you contact us with inquiries, register for access to the SciMed site. Do We Share Your Personal Data?

SciMed is not in the business of selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:

Business Transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets.

SciMed Related Companies: We may also share your Personal Data with subsidiaries and affiliates of the Medical Knowledge Group (SciMed's parent company -- for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy).

Event Supporters: If you sign-up to attend an activity offered by SciMed, we may share your registration information with non-related companies that are involved in supporting the applicable activity, including, without limitation, pharmaceutical companies.

Business Partners: From time to time, SciMed may offer you the opportunity to participate in discount plans and similar benefit programs from one or more of our business partners. If you opt-in to participate in the discount plans or other benefit programs of our business partners, we will disclose your Personal Information to such business partners so that they may register you for the applicable discount plan and/or benefit program.

Agents, Consultants, and Related Third Parties: SciMed, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples include mailing information, maintaining databases, and processing payments.
